Sidney Hider, from New Zealand, was diagnosed with stage III myeloma in 2001. He compiled a record of his journey in hopes that it might help others. Sid passed away in September 2011.

The first post on this site was to let family and friends know of Dan Patterson's schedule for stem cell transplant. The myeloma patient kept readers up to date for more than seven years until his death in 2012.
