Dr Yang is Assistant Professor, Dept. Electrical and Computer Engineering, Ryerson University and is working in the fields of biophotonics and bioengineering.

Works on large-scale computational biochemistry and biophysics, bioinformatics, molecular modeling and design, and molecular machines.

A FASEB member and publisher of the "Biophysical Journal." Extensive resources include an online textbook, meetings, and career placement.
